Time for a new look (literally, sort of)

What's up, people who may or may not stumble upon this blog of mine? 


This used to be my blog from my secondary school days up until my first year of degree where I rant about things I'm unhappy about, gush over things I'm happy about, and just share things about my life in a way that was too much but also vague-ish.


Those posts have been unpublished but it will most likely always sit in my drafts because when I have this sudden urge to embarrass the shit out of myself from first hand embarrassement, I can do so. Easily. 


Anyway, I thought that I want to use this as a place for me to store my eye shadow looks that I've tried on myself because phew! I love eyeshadow, I love looking for inspirations on Pinterest and then attempt to recreate those looks on my eyes with the minimal make up that I have, and I have such bad memory that when I try to repeat a look I love, I can't remember the exact shades that I mixed and used. 


So, never again! I'm going to, hopefully, be diligent in taking photos as I play with my make up and document them here in the hopes that I can find a few key looks that I really like and have them as reliable backups for when I'm running late on getting ready for events. 


I'm also really just feeling burned out from work and my St. John responsibilities that I need something only for myself. I started baking a year ago, and I'm still baking but I've reached the stage where I just want to bake but not really eat them. So it's not really a thing I do for myself, get what I mean? That and my dad keeps asking me almost every weekend as to whether I'm baking or not.

Ugh, it's been ages since I managed to find time to post this look diary. Honestly, I did this look the day after my previous look but the process of sitting down (or lying down, to be really honest) and arranging what meager photos I took and downloaded and then type it all out is a task that really should not be done when I'm swamped with work.  So! Let's get on with it, yeah?  This is a pink eyeshadow with a hint of gold at the inner corner for a highlight colour. Generally, when I use pink, I do like to pair it with some sort of gold or bronze shimmer since I think it's quite a nice pair. Brown with Mint Highlight

Ayyy, let's start off with my current favourite colour combo. I wore this out recently on a friends meet up (after 6 months, because you know, Covid-19) but I did it differently with a dark outer corner, neutral centre and mint shimmer in the inside corner.  But then I was trying to figure out whether my eyes are wideset or not and I decided to try a halo look instead for this look diary. I really try to take better photos but I'm shy and uncomfortable with cameras.
