Ayyy, let's start off with my current favourite colour combo. I wore this out recently on a friends meet up (after 6 months, because you know, Covid-19) but I did it differently with a dark outer corner, neutral centre and mint shimmer in the inside corner.
But then I was trying to figure out whether my eyes are wideset or not and I decided to try a halo look instead for this look diary. I really try to take better photos but I'm shy and uncomfortable with cameras. And when I bought my phone, I wasn't concerned with the camera quality, so yeah, it's enough if I can document the look and shades used.
Anyway, let's begin with my bare face which is yellow-y for 2 reasons, lighting and my lack of exposure to sunlight.
Let's just admire the yellowness and huge nose I have but I've make peace with my features over the years so it's fine
Anyway, when I was trying this look, I decided that I needed to test which of my foundations and/or powder is giving me issue. So meh, we can forget about my foundation shade because I have 2 bottles and 1 cushion but none of them are my shade currently due to *coughlackofsuncough*.
Let's just list down the important parts to this because I just want to get it out of the way:
1. Eyebrow gel from Sace Lady
2. Tarte Clay Play Face Shaping Palette
3. Beauty Glazed Uranus eyeshadow palette

4. Catrice Ray of Lights (which is not available anymore, apparently)
So, I started of with my eyebrows because I decided that I need to practice more with using my eyebrow gel tint (in shade 04 Dark Grey) and then using the Tarte palette that my sister bought couple of years back for herself but somehow I ended up being the one using it now, I started blending the colours Dessert and Terracotta on the outer and inner 3rd of my eyes with a fluffy brush. Fluff fluff until I was sorta happy with it. And then I also used Instinct to blend the edges.
Meh, forget about my blank sad look, and the background of my 'home office', that's the first part of the eye look
And then I took the light green that looks mint-y from the middle top row of the Beauty Glazed palette with my finger and packed it on the middle until I'm satisfied with the pigmentation. Then I also used my finger to pick up the Catrice eyeshadow and dab it where the mint green was placed. This part stressed the shit out of me because the Catrice shimmer keeps covering the mint green so I had to alternate between both colours until I got to a point that I'm fairly happy.
My phone couldn't pick up the shimmer but it's there, really
Final look was with some Dessert + Terracotta at the bottom lash and then top it all off with mascara.
I had to sneakily go to my parents' bathroom because it's the brightest indoor space and no one was upstairs at that time
I think I still prefer the original look I did with neutral cream in the middle and the mint at the inner corner; this version did not stand out to me
Anyway, that's one look that looks neutral enough for me to wear out but also have a fun surprise when I blink, I guess? Looking at the direct photos though, I'm pretty sure I have wideset eyes on top of hooded downturn eyelids.
And wah, my face is way more asymmetrical than I thought it was. Joy.
